Guess the date a new CBA is announced

There's little doubt there are going to be games missed at this point - unless the sides agree to an abbreviated Spring Training (which will produce an inferior product) - neither side is serious yet.

A $5 million "step" in these kinds of things doesn't represent a drop in the bucket at this point - neither side is interested in working anything out yet.

Would love to see fans "dock" both the players' pay and owners' revenue by not attending the same number of games as the number of days camps are delayed. As in - if they have to push Opening Day back for two weeks to get a full camp in, nobody goes to the parks to watch for the first two weeks of games. The players obviously lose game checks if games are cancelled. While owners will lose revenues as well, they aren't required to give TV money back if that happens so they obviously won't be hurt as badly. It'd be nice to see the fans take that week/two weeks/whatever worth of gate revenues, parking, and concessions profits away from the owners so they feel it a little bit too.
