There still needs to be a regulated wage floor perhaps not in its current form.
I would understand a floating form based on local economies.

No reason we can't guarantee a living wage.

Minimum wage does have some downside. Some people (especially kids just starting out without any skills) aren't productive enough to justify $15 per hour. Then you have the fact that there is a huge amount of divergence across the country. Even in NY, $15 is ok for the city but it doesn't work upstate. The NY law gave upstate businesses a couple years extra to get ready, but the reality is the economies of the city and upstate are very different and $15 is going to cost some jobs upstate.

I’d add- removing the incentives that create unwed parents.

Right now the system gets gamed so that there is incentive not to be married via more benefits. It creates a system of here today gone tomorrow parental influences.

Does the new child care tax credit give more to single parents ?

Id also add .02 to the gun violence issue...

This is likely the 2nd generation of people born that someone has told or taught them that the gun is the way to solve problems. If this behavior isn't broken- or stopped. It won't get better. It all starts at home with a positive male influence.

Over the weekend Several deadly shootings, a stabbing to death, and a rapper was caught in the murder of the three people on the golf course .

A young black man in Atlanta caught shooting people ? No way. Must be the guns fault.

We have raised people to believe violence is the answer to every mode of disrespect.
 
How do you propose changing that?

Fine if you think the stable family is the issue.
How do we correct that across 300M ?
 
I keep hearing about these scandals but the Trump doctrine says if no charges are filed against him that means the accusations are a hoax. And even if filed are still a hoax perpetrated by the partisan hacks.
 
Pointing out more examples of gun violence and we are the only western country that deals with it in anyway close to our degree

I just can’t figure out whats different about us and them for it to happen to the degree it’s happening here vs there
