Yea, a groundball pitcher will like Peterson/Simmons combo up the middle and with CJ on the DL our defense at third is usually decent too.
That said, I totally disagree with Fredi's treatment of Kohn who has yet to give up a hit or a run. I know he walks too many but that's nothing new with him..

Judging from Perez' physique, my guess is the Braves' post-game spread had too many leftovers because they ordered the same amount as last year and forgot they didn't re-sign either Harang or Laird. Perez will help with waste-reduction, if not waist-reduction.

The nice thing about those kinds of players is they help us win now and in the future. And avoid the trap of last year when we had too much power.
