Hall Of Fame Announcement

Hoffman should get in as well. The surprise to me would be Edgar. He's made up a lot of ground but will likely fall a little short this year.

I too think Edgar will fall short. No other surprises. I also think Andruw will fall off the ballot.
 
Went back to Rico's thread. Had Chipper, Thome and Hoffman. Felt that Vlad was more deserving than Thome but might have to wait a year. Looks like it will be at least Chipper, Thome and Vlad.

I'm not sure how high he will get or if time will help him. But I do know there are atleast like 10 players who admitted they would vote for Andruw if they could nominate more than 10. So the unclogging of the ballot will help players like Andruw

Next year interesting. Rosenthal, Costas and a few others on the panel are already saying they want Andruw to be on longer.

Only Rivera is a lock. Helton may get some love for being Mr. Rockie and being there forever.

Big chance for Mussina, Edgar, Schilling to make a move and get in with the ballot clearing up the last few years.
