That was a fun Razorback team. Also had Felix Jones too. Probablly the last time I was proud to be a Razorback football fan. lmao
Felix Jones was solid.

But USC had Lendale, Leinart, Palmer, Mike Johnson and some other solid receivers.

Run DMC was one of the best runningbacks in CFB I've ever seen. Better than McGehee, Portis, and I'd say even as good as Reggie Bush because Bush had talent around him which let him run wild. McFadden did NOT.
I saw Bo Jackson play live. He’s the only one I saw in person that I would put ahead of DMac in college.

Obviously a lot of unreported ballots out there, but Andruw at 80% with 12% reported, in a relatively weak 2026 field, leads me to feel he’s getting in this year. Wouldn’t be surprised, indeed, if it’s him and Beltran.

Almost 24% reporting and Andruw sitting just above 81%. This may be the year.

If so, the narrative will be: two electric-if-flawed outfielders with generational talent but deep legacy warts waltz into the Hall together anyways.

Lots of votes coming in. 106 so far and Druw is at 82%.
I don’t see how Druw can get elected and Edmonds eventually not get elected by the Contemporary Committee. They’re basically equal on paper.

Gemini says the perfect 8 for the Contemporary Committee in 29 are lofton, Bernie Williams, Edmonds, Delgado, mattingly, Murphy, Lou Whitaker and Dwight Evans.

Delgado the front runner with Dwight Evan’s having a lot of momentum

Your not wrong. Edmonds is a better version of Bobby Abreu in that he did everything at a good or higher level. Add that up and you have a great player. That player didn't always get recognized in the 90s and 00s though and I feel if Edmonds had the same career in this era he would of been thought of a lot higher than he currently is. He also suffered the same as Andruw in that Edmonds 11 year run was really fucking good but outside of that he did't do much. The main difference of course is that Andruw had the one trait that was all universe and is regarded as the best defensive CFer of all time. While that doesn't give extra points in WAR it does in the minds of voters, right or wrong.

A mid 60's WAR is borderline HOF level. But there is an argument that if you are one of the absolute best defenders at your position of all time then that can nudge you over the edge.
