Radio says parts of Houston flooding that haven't flooded before.

I don't know how well Mattress Mack is known or Gallerry Furniture outside of the area but they are taking in people with their pets. He has a pretty strong association with the Rockets.

I haven't seen the pictured yet. Just heard people are stuck driving on the beltway and can't get off because everywhere is flooded.

being critical of the administration for "politicizing a crisis" is verboten -- because invoking politics during a crisis.

being critical of Obama for some long forgotten faux pas or criticizing a 3rd world country during a crisis --- okeedookey

Do I understand the ground rules ?

Yeah it is indeed just a rare set of circumstances. There is a high pressure in west Texas that has essentially stopped the track of the storm. It's essentially going to push it back into the gulf where it will then go up the coast again and make landfall in the Houston area. This is not 100% confirmed but what is most likely according to the projections right now.

Is Trump supposed to personally go down there and help people stuck on their roof? I think he's dumb and poor president but people blaming their current situation on Trump are just as dumb. It's a natural disaster. They happen and it's nobody's fault.
