I mean, this is a baseball town. Attendance at games may not be consistently good, but there are a lot more factors that play into that. Pretty much everyone in the metro Atlanta area is an active Braves fan.

I had the same thoughts. Doesn't Georgia produce one of the highest quality class of amateur baseball talent every year? Granted, California produces the most and that's where Kemp is coming from, but I get why he would assume Atlanta likes baseball.
