Repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell was going to fundamentally destroy the military and the country?
Almost 3 years now since the repeal, and haven't heard a peep from the military or conservatives on this issue.
Must be that short-term memory thing or whatever is the flavor of the month to attack Obama on. Because all I remember during that time was hearing people like McCain and company saying this was going to ruin the discipline and hurt the military.
The Venezuela and Ukraine things were going on for weeks and months until Conservatives finally started to speak out on it. Venezuela demonstrations were going on for a while, but Rubio finally came out when it was headline news here. It actually makes me appreciate our President more tbh. During his Presidency... Greece went under, Spain is/was about to go under. Venezuela is sparking a revolution, Ukraine is sparking a revolution, Libya went through a revolution and Syria is Syria. Egypt has gone through 3 revolts. Throughout all this he has ended the war in Iraq, finally is ending the war in Afghanistan despite opposition to stay there forever, and the only other conflict he's entered is Libya.
And hopefully he cuts more bloated military spending.
