Hillary's E-mails

**NOT ACTUALLY RACIST
A new report claims that Valerie Jarrett, one of President Barack Obama's top advisers, leaked the Hillary Clinton email scandal to the press

What's more, the leak was reportedly planned to hit at the same time Clinton planned to announce her run for presidency

The New York Post claims that Jarrett was angry that the Clintons had been working to 'marginalize' President Obama

Jarrett reportedly blamed the Clintons for the fact that members of the party refused to campaign with Obama during the midterm elections

There are reportedly six more probes going on investigating Clinton and more leaks are expected

President Obama reportedly told Clinton in a meeting with Jarrett and the First Lady that he would not support her in the presidential primary

This is going to get big if true.

Well to be fair it isn't a secret that the O crowd and the C crowd to socialize much.

Yeah, the history between the two families is entertainingly chequered. Anyways, I would have to think that Obama not supporting Hillary is actually a very good thing for her candidacy.

That said, I really don't know who else the Democrats would realistically run out there against Hillary and not expect there to be major bloodshed.

Why? I think it won't matter much one way or the other. In the general election they basically have the same supporters.

The question is "Will they govern differently?" Obama has been extremely successful just surviving and getting anything done at all. I think he's the smarter politician and certainly the better speaker and campaigner. He also comes across as being more honest. Hillary looks like she's lying before she even opens her mouth.

Weird because I thought Messina and Plouffe were preparing to work for Hillary which is why there was rumored tension of them and Biden's team.

That's all true but Hillary will have Bill in the shadows calling the plays.

Why? Because Barack Obama is a political pariah.

The last thing that Clinton wants to be perceived as is Obama redux. You said it yourself, he's made a presidency out of 'surviving' (aka accomplishing very little) -- that's hardly a platform I could see the broader electorate in 2016 openly supporting.

When Prophecy Fails [1956] is a classic text in social psychology authored by Leon Festinger, Henry Riecken, and Stanley Schachter. It chronicles the experience of a UFO cult that believed the end of the world was at hand. In effect, it is a social and psychological study of a modern group that predicted the destruction of the world, and the adjustments made when the prediction failed to materialize. "The authors have done something as laudable as it is unusual for social psychologists. They espied a fleeting social movement important to a line of research they were interested in and took after it. They recruited a team of observers, joined the movement, and watched it from within under great difficulties until its crisis came and went. Their report is of interest as much for the method as for the substance."-Everett C. Hughes, The American Journal of Sociology.

Things are trending in Obama's favor though.

Whether it's McConnell holding up the AG's nomination due to a Human Trafficking bill, or the GOP holding up homeland security funding trying to tie it into immigration, Clinton would be silly to avoid any of Obama's accomplishments if she ran.

Perhaps the GOP has another civil war like they did in 2012 with the moderates vs. base with moderates ultimately prevailing because of electability, and then it hurts their chances at Presidential again.

I find it interesting you view Obama's presidency as surviving, when it's clearly been more of the GOP stalling until they get another chance at playing for the Presidency (2012 and now inaction until after 2016).

Like what?

Healthcare is a dangerous proposition, it's still very polarizing.

Aside from that -- what exactly has this President accomplished aside from treading water and piggybacking off of previous Presidential initiatives?

I'm talking about things that Hillary could prop up as mayjor.

How did Biden put it "he killed binLaden and saved the auto industry"

Stimulus

Dreamers

Lily Ledbetter

Vetoed Keystone Pipeline

Presented his birth certificate

Consumer Protection Agency

and pushed through a legislation other Progressives tried for 100 years unsuccessfully

took selfies

Remained a thorn in the side of bigots and idiots nationwide.

Other points are not exactly fantastical, nor bereft of partisan angst.

So ... still waiting, I guess.

You have to view his producing a " birth document" a major accomplishment -- I mean ... he in real life, took a nothing and turned it into a something

I dunno, there's a lot of meat on the bones of "took selfies." Could also add that he filled out several March Madness brackets. Make room on Mount Rushmore.

Golfed

left that out. However - we don't know if all his time spent golfing has improved his score ??

It is reported Clinton cheated on the golf course
////

M opinion is this will go down as a transformational Presidency -- a lot has happened and our country looks a whole lot different since 2008

You think it actually looks different?

How's our foreign policy?

How's our national debt?

How's our civil liberties?

You can make the argument that the economy is improved, but it how could it have gotten worse. And it's totally manufactured by the Fed.
