Hollywood/Political Sex Offense Scandals (Now Louis CK and AL-GOPSenateNom Roy Moore)

The GOP and its "culture wars" are sinking fast. Is straight up racism and tax cuts for the uber-wealthy all they have left?

I think it was slimy and inappropriate based on the power dynamic and professional relationship. The age spread could be considered (IMO) problematic, but at least there is not a question of ML being, legally or emotionally, the equivalent of a young teen at the time.That's about the best thing I can say about it.

I agree with the writer that an honest moral inventory for Democrats does call for a reckoning with Bill's legacy.

But, I'm addressing someone who wrote Moore a pass for skeezing teens and said...well, what, exactly, about Donald Trump's indiscretions? So it's hard to assume anything approaching good faith here.

One thing that frustrates me is when we can't acknowledge anything positive that the other side does. I think McConnell is the absolute worst, but it's good that he's now actively denouncing Moore. We don't need to attack him for it, as I've seen all day.

Could he possibly be referring to the fact that Steve Bannon sent Breitbart operatives down to Alabama to discredit Moore's accusers? Or is he doing the Trump bluff?
