Holy Schit: How is this man running for office successfully?

Has Trump ever built anything that was good for society. I know his hotels/casinos/golf courses employ a lot of people, but just wondering if he had every created anything that wasn't a luxury item for the uber wealthy.

Well we have a liar in Clinton.
Well we have a socialist/communist in Sanders and his fantasy of telling the rich what to do.
Well we have rubes for most of the Republican party.
Carson is the best fit but he is not and no way a politician and would get eaten alive by the other leaders of the world.

So in essence we are screwed. No viable candidates. Carson or punt is my opinion. Obama kind of screwed him because of his ineptness and America will not elect another black president even though Carson would have been infinitely better.

Iraq
Iran
Syria
Egypt
Afghanistan
Black Crime
Black Matters
Travon is my son
Bigger deficit
Fast and Furious
Educations is worst
Immigration issues

I could go on and on

Carson is one of the worst of the whole group. God help us if he is the Republican candidate and actually wins. You're right that there's no one who deserves the job. As bad as Hillary is, there's no one the Republicans have right now who stands a chance of beating her, which is pathetic when you think about it.

At least he tells the truth and is actually tell you what he is and about. I rather have that instead of liars and those FORCING people to pay more for those who don't want to work harder or in most cases not at all and let government be the nanny state.

He is scaring the Libs because of the black vote that he is probably going to get when they decide to turn on the darn internet, MSNBC is not news nor is Fox. My dad is prime example, he does not know how to get actual news and only watches MSNBC and I told him they are filling his hea with lies and I say Fox will do the same, you need something neutral. I haven't fully turned him to Carson, but I am close, quite close, the only thing he doesn't like is the (R) but I explain to him that Carson would have no chance as a Dem because of Obama failure and catering to anyone that builds his legacy and the Christian issue which my dad does not like about Democrats. I called him a hypocrite because of it and that is why we had a fight.

We blacks are waiting for the false prophet to deliver and hasn't, actually it is worse. Carson is purposely going after the blacks and I actually think he would do something about our issues. Obama just like to grin and let the world make a fool of him and begging for the legacy he is not going to get. Already pined for one of the worst presidents ever, well it tells us that the voters are just stupid to vote for him. But I am going to defend him, McSame was horrible and Mittens was terrible and I wouldn't trust him either and he would not have been better nationally, but better internationally.

In general I hate this field. I'm clearly for Hillary Clinton although I probably would have supported Biden if he had run. I can't vote for Sanders though. I don't like socialism and I dislike both conservative an liberal populism. If somehow Sanders won the nomination, I might have to vote Republican for the first time in the 35 years of my life. I don't hate Bush, and I don't hate Christie. Of course if Sanders and one of the right wing yahoos won, I might just have to not vote.

For those on the left and right, remember that those votes who will normally go to your party are not necessarily guaranteed. If moderate parts of your party hate the nominee, they could defect. It's not just the standard undecideds.

DAYUMMMM best post from anyone in a while.

Biden should have been next president. Yes he is buddy buddy with Obama, but does not like a lot of his ideas and have actually butted heads. Obama is a young politician who is out for name recognition, Biden wasn't. Sad he had to leave but he sees his party is a lost cause as well and his boss and Pelosi with Reid has lost their way. Biden would told those two to f*ck off and quit being idiots and told the Reps, we can negotiate but if you f*ck with me you can join Pelosi and Reid.

Perhaps on message boards and other forms of social media where there is no face.

In real life, I disagree with you

Now, let's bear in mind the difference

I think it goes beyond social media. We see it on public display. I wish it were not the case but it is.

We need to drop the notion that what happens on boards like these and in social media, doesn't have real life consequences.

I see it fueled by impersonal conversation where there is no face involved. You and I disagree about a lot of things. I would never think of holding I'll will toward you just because you are wrong.

Nor I you - but we aren't everyone. And yes, face-to-face tempers what one says and does - thankfully - but it doesn't take away the inner feelings always, especially not in polling.

I like and generally agree with the statement that "proximity breeds empathy." But apart from places like this board, we often live in our own bubbles and ghettos and those outside of those places are easy to despise and hate and revile. And it happens both ways. Neither the Left nor the Right are immune.

I was, very much for ending the draft x number of years, ago but one thing that got lost in that was people were forced to learn how to be with people you not only disagree with but raised in totally opposite worlds without notions of hate, "despise" or other words that connotations otherness

I understand. But 57, we can't honestly look at all the blogs, and websites, and memes, and media personalities, etc., that are even posted by us all here and think that they don't just fuel this very hatred. In other words, we ought to look in the mirror. And when a candidate from the other party soars in popularity when it makes no sense to us - then maybe we should look in the mirror more closely. These candidates - Clinton, Trump and the like are an indictment against us.
