That's some bullcrap if he isn't handcuffed. He should be treated the same as anyone else. I have seen speculation the SS won't let them do certain things. Why even ask their permission. They have no authority to intervene in criminal matters. If they try to interfere treat them the same way they would treat a black person trying to obstruct.
