18 Interesting facts about Hillary Clinton, about half I didn't know.

I am not going to defend Republicans, they would burn the country to the ground so long as they could be King of the ashes but Hillary championed a crime bill that has already crippled black communities. She freely admits it played a large part in the mass incarceration of black people. You may not be a poor black in the ghetto but that wont stop a racist cop from planting drugs on you. People like Hillary give the tools racist cops need to do real damage to black people. How would your life be different if at 21 you were stopped by a racist cop who decided to plant drugs on you? Up until recently with cameras with audio all over the place if this happened to you you were screwed. Just in 2015 in Alabama it was discovered cops and a DA were purposely planting drugs on blacks with no criminal background to get them started in the system. They did this for over a decade. The War on Drugs is about as racist as the KKK and Hillary threw gasoline on that fire. Now she wants votes so she can fix her failed policy.

yeah, i hopes she realizes her wrong and will fix it. what a crazy idea. i don't know if she will but that last sentence is a weird one.

it sucks Nixson ratcheted up the drug war and than Nancy had her campaign against drugs and then the 90's happened where no one was going to get elected president or to congress without being "tough on crime"

So if Hillary has done nothing wrong Obama wont be pardoning her between the election and inauguration right? Would you atleast take that as proof she has done something wrong?

i have read these 2 sentences a few times and it doesn't make sense.

am i reading them wrong? am i missing context? or do they just not make sense to anyone else and i am overthinking trying to understand the question?

Lets make it 19

In a speech made public by Wikileaks – which released an email from Hillary for America Research Director Tony Caark containing three attached speeches given at a private Goldman Sachs events – Clinton spoke and took audience questions at the “Builders and Innovators Summit” hosted by Goldman Sachs on October 29, 2013.

Answering a question about businessmen in politics, Clinton said that they are “most often the people that look over the horizon,” and therefore share a vision that many politicians of today lack. “And that’s a very good question and thank you for asking it. Yes, I would love to see more businessmen go into politics because I believe they would bring in an entirely different mindset and strategies than what we’re used to seeing traditionally,” she opined.

And then she just had to go on. “In fact, when you say businessmen and women, I can’t help but think of a particular one that I would just love to see running for the presidency at some point in the future,” Clinton added. “I don’t know what it is exactly about him, I can’t quite put my finger on it, but my instinct is almost never wrong. And it’s telling me that Donald Trump would be very successful if he were to venture into politics in the future.”

Asked to elaborate on her statement, the former Secretary of State argued that she thinks that businessmen “can’t be bought” and that they’re “very honest.” “And I think that goes especially for Donald Trump, whose successful projects and business ventures have made him synonymous with big business and, more importantly, creating thousands of jobs. I also think he understands the philanthropic and charitable side of things quite well, which is a crucial skill for any politician,” she praised her current counter-candidate.

“I think he has a lot to offer to this country and its people, especially when we’re talking about the economy,” she continued. “Donald Trump has single-handedly helped stop the recession, more so than dozens of other so-called billionaires. And I don’t know how the experts on the matter feel, but in my book that’s hard evidence of the man’s business prowess and integrity, as well. And I think everyone would agree those are commendable character traits for anyone looking to tackle the most difficult problems and challenges in the world, quite literally.”

“So, yes – Donald Trump is someone I could very easily see winning the support of the people. And I don’t think he would do that with his flammable rhetoric and negotiation skills – which are both things he’s known for – but with common sense and respect for his fellow countrymen. But, most of all – I think his relationship with the opposite sex would bring him the most political points. I think he respects women and treats them as equals and I also think that would bring him a significant lead over anyone unlucky enough to be running against him,” she ominously concluded in her 2013 speech.

And they all deserve to stand trial for their crimes. Nowhere in the constitution does it give the government the authority to regulate your body. Abortion was only a question because many believe the fetus to have rights. Theres a reason alcohol prohibition took a constitutional amendment. You might be right about not being able to get elected but thats only because of years and years of propaganda, many of which had racist origins. I take that excuse to the be the equivalent of a Nazi running the gas chambers saying he was just doing his job and would be shot if he didnt do it. The Clintons ****ed over an entire generation of black people. More of them in prison now than there were slaves back in the old days. Many of them working for pennies an hour in prison. The more things change the more they stay the same. She takes campaign donations from every party that stands to benefit from mass incarceration and prohibition. She sold black people out for campaign donations and they will still overwhelmingly vote for her.

edit - And electing Hillary to fix the mass incarceration problem would be like electing George W Bush to fix the middle east.

I think Hillary is going to be pardoned by Obama before he leaves office.

She was dead wrong on that point.

It was a mutual love affair. Trumps on tape saying Hillary would go down as one of the best senators of all time. Rick Perry used to be a hardcore democrat until he realized he lived in Texas. Its just two wings of the same party folks.

So Huma's been kicked off of HRC's plane...

this **** is nuts. Never thought I'd see the day our President will be elected while under federal investigation

If Hillary had an R next to her name she would be tauted as America's Thatcher and everything in her past would mean nothing to the GOP. Hell, she once campaigned for Goldwater. Actually, I'll bet she wishes she had done this years ago.

no matter what she said it was going to be the wrong thing.

There is no telling what she thought of Trump, she just graciously deflected a hypothetical

If there is nothing in these latest emails Comey is gonna have a lot to answer for. They've had the emails for weeks and have to know exactly what's on them.

A lot of crazy rumors flying around. Not sure what to believe. At this point I am not taking Hillary being a lizard person off the table.

"As much as I’ve been investigated and all of that, you know, why would I —- I don’t even want -— why would I ever want to do e-mail?" she's seen on tape telling Peter Paul on home video captured at a fundraiser.

"Can you imagine?" she said.

Trump supporters fervently love their candidate because he doesn't follow the rules and hate Clinton because she didn't follow a rule.

Caddell was there, so I'm not going to dispute his contention that Carter was ahead going into the last week, but that wasn't my recollection. Polling and GOTV have gotten much more sophisticated since 1980 and while I certainly think Trump can win, I don't think it will be the landslide 1980 turned out to be.

Like I said in another thread, Comey's letter (attacked by a number of Republicans) is going to give fodder to the left that the election is illegitimate if Trump wins. You know Trump is going to beef if he loses seeing he's talked about the rigged system for months. I think Hillary will be a sourpuss if she loses, but if there's only smoke and no fire in the latest e-mail episode, get ready for the left--establishment and otherwise--to absolutely blow a cork.

They played snippets of this on the season-ending episode of Quarry and I don't think we will see a concession speech like this next week. Shows how far we've fallen.
