Two-sport All-Star performer to sign free autographs on Nov. 5
Woodstock, GA (Oct. 19, 2015) – Sam’s Club and General Mills have announced that they will host a Member Appreciation event at the new Woodstock Sam’s Club on Thursday, Nov. 5 from 5 – 7 p.m. As part of the day’s celebration, Atlanta Braves’ and Atlanta Falcons’ Legendary All-Star Brian Jordan will meet with fans and sign free autographs at the Woodstock Sam’s Club (9464 Main Street).
Jordan is o ne of only two players ever to be All-Pro in the NFL and an All-Star in MLB. He played three seasons in NFL and was a Pro-Bowler for the Atlanta Falcons in 1991. He also played 15 seasons in MLB and was an All-Star for the Atlanta Braves in 1999. Jordan currently serves as the pre and post game host for the Atlanta Braves on Fox SportsSouth. He founded the Brian Jordan Foundation during his playing days and he continues to strive to bring out the “Excellence in Every Child” via scholarships and literacy, health and athletic programming.
“We encourage fans to join us for a fun and exciting day,” said Matt Potts, Club manager of the Woodstock location. “This event is our way of thanking the community for their patronage of our numerous clubs in the area. We are excited and look forward to seeing all the smiling faces of Woodstock and surrounding communities, as we welcome Atlanta’s two-sport legend Brian Jordan to our new location.”
Sam’s Club will officially open its newest location in Woodstock on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Sam’s Club members and guests are welcomed and encouraged to visit the Woodstock location at any time throughout the day. Autographs are limited to one per person and are only guaranteed for the first 120 people in line, but he will sign more if time allows.
