Trump literally said the President has the right to do that. I will have to look into this "note" because neither you or the people you quote have a shred of credibility. I will note one very important detail. Trump ordered Ukraine to publicly smear Joe Biden who was his most likely opponet. If Biden or Obama came out and publicly said the FBI was investigating Trump personally for colluding with Russia to cheat in the election he would not have won. Like I said during the impeachment ****, if Trump was acting in good faith he would have asked for the investigation into be kept private unless there was enough evidence to charge someone.

However, does anyone disagree the tax returns from Manhattan will be leaked to NYT subsequently becoming public record ?

The taxes are just needed to confirm what Cohen has already confessed to. The bonus would be if there is evidence of deflating his assets for tax purposes then inflating his assets on loan applications.
