Important Note About Wednesday Afternoon’s Game

If you want to watch Wednesday afternoon’s game in Toronto, the only way you can is on Facebook. No local or regional television for the game. I watched part of a game earlier in the season on the Facebook Live. I was not impressed. As you might guess, a lot of fans hate it.

What is Facebook live?
 
Another "buy" by Facebook. Creeps that lie to the American people shouldn't be allowed to take part in MLB, the National Game. Such a disappointing decision by MLB. It's all about the money. Fans of the game are thrown over board.
 
The stated reason for these Facebook games is to market baseball to the world as well as to experiment with social media tie ins with the game.

That's all well and good, my question is that why not still broadcast locally? Let the local markets have their broadcasts and let the rest of the world watch through Facebook.

I'm guessing because Facebook would not agree to this unless they got exclusive rights.

Completely agree. From what I’ve seen, the majority of MLB fans hate the deal.
 
Is it really that hard to watch it on your phone or PC rather than your TV? Connect your phone or PC to your TV maybe?

Does anyone even use a TV to stream video anymore? Is everyone stuck in the 90s?

Ahh good then! This is a good deal for those of us not in the local market and don't otherwise buy games. I only get to see national broadcasts and when Directv allows me to watch a replay on FSSE/FSSO, which is about once a week.
