Mike Soroka (shoulder) is not expected to join the Braves' rotation before June.
Jon Morosi of MLB.com reported this information on MLB Network on Tuesday morning, but it's pretty much common sense after David O'Brien of The Athletic reported Monday that Soroka hasn't resumed throwing. Soroka was working his way back from a torn Achilles before coming down with shoulder soreness, but an MRI has ruled out structural damage. He just needs to build back up and essentially go through a full "spring training" before joining the Braves. It's going to be a while.
Probably the best of bad news.
