I don’t think Rogan is a racist and I think it’s valid to have conversations with the people he was having conversations with in these videos. I like the idea of having open discussions around controversial topics. I’d have been curious to see what those conversations looked like to see if he pushed back on anything or just let them say what they wanted unchecked. From the little I’ve seen of Rogan, I assume he pushed back a bit. I don’t care for Rogan’s show enough personally to go find out for myself, though.
I also think Spotify can do whatever the hell they wish with the content they host for him. If they decide that deleting these old episodes is the best business decision they can make, I’m unconcerned. I don’t think the government should be encouraging it, but have no issues with customers and other private citizens expressing their opinion on the videos.
