It should still be able to do what it wants in the same manner as before Musk purchased it. Markey is governing poorly here.
The only place I think we disagree on this is whether or not my side does tyranny more or better than the other side.
What are the important differences between Markey’s words here and DeSantis’ thoughts on ‘woke’ corporations?

The biggest difference to me is that DeSantis threatened to take away a special benefit (treating them like any other company) vs markey specifically targeting twitter with added regulation
The other difference is federal vs state
But I'm firmly on the side of embracing the tyranny. So DeSantis is a good model for other GOP to follow

That’s because I disagree with you on the Right’s relative lack of tyranny. It doesn’t mean government overreach from the Left is a feature I’m personally thrilled with.
Of course not. I just don’t understand why your stated position would be for DeSantis and other Republicans to “embrace” tyranny.
Also, support is a bit strong. Tolerate over the other viable alternatives is a more apt description of my feelings on Biden.
