Yes, some people absolutely do. It is somehow moral to advocate for the government to use violence on innocent people but not moral for one of those affected people to shoot them? People that torture confessions out of people who then spend decades in prison deserve to die.Those who frame people of crimes deserve death. I am not saying it should be legal, but speaking only in terms of morality. Don't advocate for violence against innocent people if you want sympathy from me for getting shot.

The one place I just don’t go without carrying is to church. That’s not because of any personal connections. It’s because crazy people who don’t like churches tend to shoot them up fairly often.

Yeah, by personal connection, I mean some more deeply personal reason to have an issue with churches. That can be political, theological or just a family trauma thing. I just wouldn’t jump “leftist who was radicalized to kill Christians” over “crazy guy whose father was religious and strict” as the most expected reason.

I'm not jumping to any conclusions yet, we don't know the guy but we can infer info on him. But I don't think we'll see the same thing, saw a stat on socials (unsure where) that mentioned that 2 of the mass shootings that happened over the weekend happened by Iraq War vets.

The incidence rate of vets with PTSD committing violent acts surely rises to the do something level if we’re going to lock up all the people within that group against their will regardless of their conduct due to their mental illness. Sorry that Uncle Sam fucked you over( guys. I’ve been told the the safety of all Americans is too important to get bogged down in the details of civil liberties.
