1. I dont agree with govt shutting down peaceful protests

2. Many protests were not peaceful, and thus required government response

3. I dont ever trust government to support and defend rights of it's people

4.there is a very stark difference in the value in speech when one person is "cancelled" (i.e. their careers are ruined and their families suffer) and protesters having to move their looting to the next street over

I believe free speech is under attack. I don't think this administration will defend it, and this I wont vote for it. Private citizens are attacking it too, and thus I'll call them out.

You will keep defending it. Bc OM broke you

Also you made 3 posted in 4 minutes complaining about the lack of response...

Is this another "no government officials who were pro lockdowns are are also pro protesters " embarrassment from our favorite board conspiracy theorist?

you've had days to comment on it...better late than never...i'm glad to see such a consistent vigilance against violations of free speech

as a reminder for next time...this is what an attack on free speech looks like

Agreed.

But not censorship?

GWTW? Well it is beyond stupid what HBO did. I'm not sure a private company can censor. But it offends the spirit of free expression.

But...imo...there is a degree of difference between the government using the military to clear a crowd so very poorly chosen one can have his photo op...and a private company HBO making the decision it did

i'm shocked one drew no response from you...not really shocked...faux shocked...something you should be familiar with

no, constitution freedom boy disagrees

you're speech is only under attack if you can't send a tweet

these silly protesters who are non violent and practicing their 1st amendment rights and being beaten by the gov't forces isn't speech under attack

obviously

And people said "why do you need rocket launchers". You can only peacefully protest while armed. If you are given permission to protest you arent protesting. You know what they do when 5k armed people show up? Back off.

The Pentagon’s top general apologized on Thursday for his appearing alongside President Trump near the White House after authorities forcibly removing peaceful protesters from the area, saying that it “was a mistake that I have learned from."

“As many of you saw the results of the photograph of me in Lafayette Square last week, that sparked a national debate about the role of the military in civil society,” Milley said. “I should not have been there. My presence in that moment, and in that environment, created the perception of the military involved in domestic politics.”

Interesting that his apology focuses on the optics of the situation. There is also a reality that the military was used to clear out a peaceful crowd of protesters.
