Is Free Speech Under Attack in this Country?

Sure

I can do that

4 more years of school should be done on the tax payers dime. Education is important

That was easy

I’d be more for universal healthcare first though.

Fewer and fewer are paying attention and they hate it.

The same will go for public education and higher education.

They will all become less relevant over time and the country will be better for it.

Weren't you chastising me and lauding yourself for going to college and getting a CPA while I didn't accumulate debt and instead worked? Seems silly to make both those statements.

Oh do tell me why you once again find yourself on the side of censorship

Every single time

I find it ironic you state that in a thread where you spend all your time bashing the "media" that you're the one clamoring about censorship.

Youtube is allowed to remove whatever articles they want.

It’s very clear the liberal arts degrees are the worthless ones. Those people like JPX contribute nothing to society. It’s all self serving.

My education has served me well.

Public education in my state is horrible. My son had his best year academically being home schooled this year.

When the time comes I will push for a college degree (if he wants it) via the ACE system. It's faster and cheaper.

I’ve got a few years before i have to worry about the little ones education but he will never step foot in a public school in his life.

You'll note the silence from the useful idiots

Schools can regulate speech in certain instances if it disrupts the educational process. For example, you go to class with a megaphone and start railing against the president while the professor is giving a lecture. You could be disciplined for that.

The problem here is that this appears to have been an optional presentation with a Q&A portion. The comments were germane to the discussion and he was literally called on to ask a question.

Saying he doesn't have first amendment protection because his questions might have offended is pretty absurd.

I get what the school is trying to say here but they're saying it really inartfully.

Canada is done

Most countries don't have a first amendment. People like to hold up a lot of European countries or Canada as progressive paradigms but in some areas they're really backwards. Free speech is one such area.

Theres few things as satisfying politically as Pence becoming a pariah by Republicans after all the ass kissing he did. He literally did nothing wrong and he is still hated.
