Just get there and roll the dice. For all intents and purposes every team has the same odds in a short series. Hell, put the Marlins or Orioles in there, and even they could still win a short series at least 30% of the time.

I think a nice edit to the thread title will do wonders to keep the jinx demons away, kind of like fool’s parsley or rosemary.

Yeah the Braves are a world series contender because the Braves are in contention for the playoffs. If you make the playoffs, you have a pretty decent chance at the world series. I don't believe in playoff teams incapable of winning a world series.

Considering how good some of those Braves teams were, I would say 1 for 14 actually supports my theory of extreme parity in baseball.

3 for 14 to me. The Yankees are a **** stain on baseball and I refuse to recognize anything they do until they play on a level playing field. Next time they earn a title will be the first.
