Guns don't kill people.

I have many guns. My family is alive and well.

People kill people.

If you actually want to solve the problem (I know you don't), you'd look at the actual underlying issue (I know you wont)

I think finding culpability in only the shooter is the wrong approach.
To my mind the proper approach , as proven with tobacco, would be making it a financial burden to anyone profiting from the sale of ammunition or weapons.
And of course whatever penalties apply to the perpetrator

I oppose the death penalty
