January 6th insurrection thread...

The whole story of "the big steal" was just something Rudy Giuliani read on FB, never attempted to verify ("Why would I?") and presented to the world as fact. His claims that he had spoken to someone with "actual evidence" were complete lies.

Duh. Most of us knew that from the start. That's why he was sweating so hard at the press conference. Deep down he knew he was lying his ass off.

And the cop being “those damn libs really upset him”

but he's not stupid...

he knows and has always known exactly what he was doing.

Yeah he surrounds himself with Giulianis and Lowendowskis Jared's , Ivankas and Bannons of the world.

The old proverb says " in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king"

Rejecting the recommendation of prosecutors, a federal judge sentenced a Jan. 6 rioter to probation on Friday and suggested that the Justice Department was being too hard on those who broke into the Capitol compared to the people arrested during anti-racism protests following George Floyd’s murder.

U.S. District Court Judge Trevor McFadden questioned why federal prosecutors had not brought more cases against those accused in 2020 summertime protests, reading out statistics on riot cases in the nation’s capital that were not prosecuted.

“I think the U.S. attorney would have more credibility if it was even-handed in its concern about riots and mobs in this city,” McFadden said during Danielle Doyle’s sentencing for entering the Capitol on Jan. 6 with a throng of other rioters. Prosecutors recommended two months of home confinement for Doyle, who is from Oklahoma.

See. They got their day in court. Since prosecutors recommended 2 months house arrest my guess is this person wasnt involved in more than just trespassing. But yeah, really showed us, downgraded from 2 months house arrest to probation, big win there.

The "win" is that at least one federal judge recognizes the hypocrisy of those excusing the Summer of Mostly Peaceful Looting, Murder, Vandalism, and Arson while pearl clutching about Mostly Peaceful Tours of Public Property.

I thought probation was a reasonable, if somewhat strict, sentence for trespassing on public property.

I actually disagree with the judge here. Once you cross the line into violence you've abandoned any moral high ground. It doesn't matter what the basis of your protest was. You've chosen lawlessness over the rule of law and that shouldn't be tolerated.

Criminal investigations are going to take place. They literally have recordings of people destroying evidence under subpoena.

Want to see some BS? Check this out. They admit deleting info off the machines but it's okay because it's been archived. First of all the machines should not have their files deleted since they were under subpoena. They shouldn't even be touched. Second, if it's normal to wipe stuff before an audit why didn't they wipe the files before those audits in February? Just spinning to save their asses.

When a 'fact checking' site comes to the defense you now the lie is massive.

Its only a matter of time.

We are not going to stop. We are going to get to the bottom of Nov 3rd because what we are now seeing is the direct results of a stolen election.
