Your side is the one defending this kind of thing. All of a sudden you have a problem with it and want to retroactively apply a new standard. How about Republicans introduce some legislation making it illegal for cops to use violence against protesters who arent being violent. No, they wont do that, they just want to go by different rules for themselves but **** everyone else let the cops beat the **** out of other protesters. You reap what you sow. Dont expect pity from me after all the years of you people defending this.
The only one I was concerned about was the DC one because of the corruption there. Now it's going to be hard to even get this case in before the election even if the SCOTUS goes against Trump which I don't think will happen. Even if the other cases get a conviction the appellate courts will throw them out because they're ****.
Imagine being told by the eGOP to run because Trump will be convicted. You listen and ruin your future.

One thing we've seen with this SCOTUS when they want to hear a case there is a strong possibility it will be overturned. The Sarbanes-Oxley Act was not designed to go after protestors. Bush said that when he signed it into law.

This also effects Trump's DC case. The delay while SCOTUS listens to this case (if it holds together by ruling against Trump) almost assures this case will come after the 2024 election.

You people vastly overrate how much I care about this case. I never thought he would even get charged for it. With all his criminal cases this is just the gravy on top. I will assuredly handle it better than you have Trump losing in 2020. Even in the best case scenario of Trump winning in 2024 I still see things ending very badly for him. Best case outcome he manages to delay things until he croaks. Even if he gets a second term its not going to go well for him.
