Explain this to me, how do you think that works. January 6th, lets ignore the fact that Trump asked these people to be there in the first place, theres no one within 30 miles of the Capital except the people supposed to be there. Explain to me what you think happens at that point that changes anything.
The people at the capitol was just a show of support. The establishment needed to stop the cases from being heard in the chambers of congress because it would have been flipped to the states when everyone saw the mountains of evidence That needed validation.

Wut? There were objections by Republicans that triggered the House and Senate meeting to discuss them and Republicans got to make their case. There wasn't even a good enough case to get all Republicans to vote against certification but you think if not for the riot all Republicans plus about half of Democrats would have voted to send it back to the states. Are you smoking crack? If you had a shred of evidence Trump wouldn't have to attack and incentive Republicans to agree to his claims. It's 3 years later and you still haven't produced the slightest bit of evidence. How do you not see the ridiculousness of your argument?
