I’ve actually been vocal here in my defense of these idiots when it comes to the criminal justice system side of things (pre-trial, at least), but just pragmatically this doesn’t seem like a wise move. It shouldn’t be held against him unless you’re being liberal with contempt, but it is certainly not ideal for his defense.
