Look at this "breach" the mob is so unruly.
A true miracle we survived this attack

I’m going to take the weird stance that I both disagree with the Democrats continuing to focus on 1/6 but also think it’s fair for them to hold Bannon in contempt. I feel like even if the issue is overblown, the subpoena is a legitimate tool in learning more about the crimes that took place.
Crimes that took place?
Do tell....
Remember this weaponization of the DOJ when we take back power in 22/24.
I don’t think it was an insurrection, but you’re going way out on a limb if you think the participants didn’t break any laws that day. At the absolute least, everyone in there presumably trespassed.
What does Bannon have to do with legitimate laws that were broken?
You said specifically "subpoena is a legitimate tool in learning more about the crimes that took place" while saying its fair to hold Bannon in contempt.
So what will Bannon have to say about Joe Schmo trespassing?
If Bannon helped to organize an event that led to many participants breaking the same law(s) then I think it’s fair to suggest the public should be able to learn more about the event.
So does this also apply to anyone that scheduled a George Floyd protest in the summer of 2020?
Of course not.
Its obvious what happened here. This authoritarian regime is trying to criminalize opposition.
Just keep going on along with it.
What is the actual crime?
What evidence do they have that apparently the FBI did not release which indicates he was at the center of a plot that resulted in Jan 6th?
You can't see how this is an incredibly dangerous precedence?
I dunno, nobody has made the error of giving me a congressional seat yet to have access to any potentially relevant information. That’s kind of the point in the first place: there are many that want to know more about the events of that day, and there is an established link between the rally-goers and many of the people who went on to the Capital. Seems pretty straight forward to me that there’s enough of a connection between the two to ask questions. I just don’t think it’s useful and also don’t think the narrative of violent insurrection is accurate.
There is no evidence or else the FBI would not have made that claim.
This is clearly yet another partisan witch hunt meant to discourage disagreement with the regime.
The fact that even you can't call out what is obvious is upsetting.
I’ve called it both a political ploy and a waste of everyone’s time. What more do you want me to call it? Congress is granted the right to do these things and both sides are guilty of using that ability poorly at times.
