I wouldn't have posted that link if I knew it required subscription. It let me read it at my home PC without anything but when I click on the link on my phone now it does. There's plenty of free articles if you want to do a quick Google search.
I don't see how the Whitmer case would be worse. That was a response to a member of the group telling law enforcement they were organizing a terrorist plot. This case was a convicted felon who had a sexual relationship with a 14 year old and has domestic violence issues who went to law enforcement and told them he could convince BLM to commit terrorism. I have no sympathy for the Whitmer terrorists. They played stupid games and won a stupid prize. No normal person can be convinced to go buy explosives to blow **** up. Hope they enjoy their cell. It's where they belong.
