January 6th insurrection thread...

There is this thang called discovery, which requires prosecutors to share the evidence with the defense. The judge pointed out that this has already happened. The defense has also had the option all along to request additional footage. The fact that some of this footage is being provided to Tucker now doesn't mean the defense couldn't have asked for it months ago. Many of these motions have been transparent delaying tactics. Seems like some around here like to complain about the slowness of the courts but on a rather selective basis. As I said the whine is the thang. I've glad to see so much sympathy for the rights of the accused coming from my friends on the right.

As I said it is truly a wonderful thing to behold this concern for the rights of the accused. A blessing for all of us.

Actually, we seem to care about the word of law more than you do. Yeah, the police do occasionally get out of hand and oppress a person unduly but for every one of those cases we'll see two cases where a perpetrator gets a slap on the wrist that enables them to go back and terrorize the neighborhood. Personally, I've never seen anybody in my life treated like we've seen for misdemeanor trespassing especially when you consider many were invited in nor have I seen people charged for seditious conspiracy over tough guy talk. However, when we see blatant breaking of the law like the SCOTUS members being harassed at home during a case and nothing is done you know you're seeing politicized nonsense. If you would actually get your uninformed head out of your keister for once in your life you would see it. The ability the MSM has to manipulate people such as yourself is astonishing.

Who has been tried for trespassing? I believe the DoJ early on decided that wouldn't be prosecuted. Indeed, there have been complaints coming from y'all about this fella named Ray Epps that the DoJ decided not to prosecute precisely for those reasons.

Yes, many people have been convicted of trespassing or as they like to call it "unlawful entry". Something is really strange with the Ray Epps story. We decide to put people in jail over trespassing but a guy who tried to incite a riot (which is illegal) is let off the hook and the democrat officials defend him.

Didn't he defend Trudeau during the trucker incident?

You might be confusing me for the fella who conflated Trudeau and Vlad. Talk about approving of Putin-style authoritarianism. We have a few Vlad fanboys right here on these boards.

We do not have Vlad fanboys here. Just because people disagree with your position doesn't make them Russian sympathizers.

I dunno what else to call people who parrot Russian deza about bioweapons labs in Ukraine and all those Nazis fighting for Ukraine. Quack like a duck and all that jazz.

The good old days when an American president tried to extort a vulnerable country for his personal political gain.

lol. What's the difference between a biolab and a bioweapons lab? Yes, there are Nazis in Ukraine and there a more than a few.
