Her crime was threatening the safety of members of Congress. She was a legitimate crazy person with a violent past and Capitol Police aren't going to wait to see if she is armed when she gets within shooting distance of Congress while a part of an angry mob attacking Congress. If an Antifa member is climbing through a broken window at your house are you going to wait to see if she is going to shoot your wife before shooting the intruder? I doubt it.

Remember when Trumpocrarts were saying the j6 footage release would exonerate people? Well now no one's been exonerated from any release and MTG now supports not releasing the footage because it could lead to more insureectionists being prosecuted. Lol

Who had psychotic delusions and was trying to attack members of Congress. Gotta leave out that context to make your point. Yeah, I know, cops should have let her get within arms length of members of Congress and taken the chance that she wasnt armed or going to attack a member of Congress. Thats a totally reasonable thing.

To be fair she should be in an institution not dead. But the officer who shot her did not have the benefit of time to verify her condition. Plus there were others following hot on her trail looking for Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi. They might have even hung poor Josh Hawley, who was running for his life. Of course, many of them also suffered from delusions and other mental illnesses. But again the officers involved did not have time to avail themselves of any information on their mental health status.
It is always tragic when mentally ill people end up being killed under such circumstances. We need to do a better job as a society to help them through their difficulties.
