Biden is basically a sitcom character. The goofy unaware character.

I actually think this White House would make an interesting sitcom.

Obama is kind of a more successful Al Bundy character. Hates working and just wants to golf. His wife and kids get on his nerves.

Carter is the gay secretary of defense who hates guns. Biden of course has the hots for Carter's wife who happens to be married to a man everyone knows is gay.

Michelle is the nagging wife constantly going on about eating healthy. And everyone just wants her to move onto another subject.

John Kerry is the dad from the munsters. His rebellious son Paul Ryan comes to visit every once in a while.

Eric Holder is the character who obviously does everything wrong, but constantly rationalizes it away in a humorous way.

Valerie Jarrett is the communist. Not sure what sitcom that is.

I don't think anyone called him a "fool". I think more people were leaning toward "dirty old perv".
 
Biden is like the ultimate Washington insider. Has made connections with nearly every establishment person in Congress. But like 50 said, you have to just appreciate how bizarre he is. And it seems like he's enjoyed the ride of being Veep more than Obama has enjoyed being President (unlike Cheney enjoying being President more than Bush being second fiddle).

I actually wouldn't mind a Biden-Warren/Sanders ticket only because I know a Sanders-Warren ticket is impossible. Even I've lost love for the Hilldog mojo.

I think Biden would be a more effective President than Hillary. I think the GOP on Capitol Hill would be just as hostile to Hillary as they've been to Obama, but Biden could get things done without all that smokescreen.
