"Carpet bombing" = wickedness

"Deporting millions" = stupid, dumb, ain't going to happen

Preaching the Scriptures - both Law and Gospel. The law which reveals our sin and the Gospel which holds out hope for sinners - including you.

Why wouldn't he? He's in the opposition party. I'd expect the same if the parties were reversed. We are talking about a huge appointment. The statement was an expected shot across the bow. Now President Obama can either go full-bore nominee to please "you guys" or instead someone who might be more tolerable. Good move by McConnell. Ball's in Obama's court now.

he can operate the way the article explains by imposing just about anything he wants unchecked with out a working Supreme Court.
In effect 1/3 of the balance of power is 50-50. Another third is so dysfunctional they can't fund filling pot holes and the other is the one being challenged
2/3 the population (voters) in blue court America. Pretty daunting number so ...

I keep going back to the 2012 election and how (R) was blindsided by a landslide. By simply reading only flattery , believing only what they wish and overestimating their value
That , might be what Trump saw and learned how to harness.

That's not so much being crude. it is pointing out Hillary's tendency to go off into what she deems to be a more southern African American style of speech. It's not very authentic - much like the young lady who pretended she was African American.

Obama is a very smart man. He'll make a sharp next move. I don't doubt it.

Not really, as far as I can tell. He's said he will appoint someone in due time. So, we don't know who or when or what he'll do in the mean time. Again, the ball is in his court and it will be interesting to watch.

One thing to bear in mind is how any selection might effect the election...
