Looks like Kershaw was on the verge of getting very rich before they tabled talks til after the season per Olney. That's a lot of hooch !
 
LOL, nearly 1 million per start.

10 years, 300 million would only have him signed until 34-35.

Could still get another deal after that.
 
What are the Dodgers to do, someone will sign him for that money if he hits the open market. Kershaw could sign that deal never throw a pitch and the Dodgers would still nearly double the Braves payroll. They will be fine.
 
I so love the 'economics' of MLB! Must have a touch of insanity to cheer for the most screwed up sport in all professional sports...
 
Now on this one I think AA has a point. 300 million is way too much for any pitcher.
 
Considering his performance in Game 6 and how they are using him, might want to reconsider that much hooch. How many innings on that arm? Torn rotator cuff waiting to happen?
