He began his remarks by saying that he was sending Eric Holder down to Ferguson to launch a civil rights investigation.
Then, he addresses the protests by saying, "While I understand the passions and the anger that arise over the death of Michael Brown..."
But what does he do when terrorists behead James Foley?
And then goes on Meet the Press yesterday (btw, Chuck Todd?) and says "I should have anticipated the optics."
No **** Sherlock.
I'd say dealing with this and dealing with IS is significantly different. IS is much more challenging.

The report was misleading
leading to a knee jerk reaction
leading to giles speculating a concealed weapon would have solved the whole incident
leading to the usual suspects stating without data or any point of reference that black on white crime is really the most burning issue
Sharpton-Jesse etc etc etc
Problem I see is the fist shakers got it wrong again BUT
they have the loudest voices in the room. And it has been proven that stating the same thing over and over and over it then becomes truth
Or common knowledge.

Take the word of a teenager? Where were the white kids in the video attacking people?

Would you take the word of a witness over the word of a grainy short video? Also as pointed out there's a shot of someone dragging a black kid out in the video.
Seriously cannot believe you'd just throw away someone's testimony because of a small clip. So sad that you're that prejudiced.
I certainly don't believe that although there are certain white people that have it much easier than the rest of us.
What I do believe is that black people do not help themselves out at all and that they continue to perpetuate stereotypes that further push them down. Everything in life comes down to choices and unfortunately too many black youths make horrible decisions.
I don't disagree with that (although I will add that ISIL is the baby Obama refused to abort) -- but it has nothing to do with his behavior following the Foley and Sotloff beheadings.
