Legal/scotus thread

Spotify might as well have lit that money on fire than pay Joe Rogan before muting him for doing something he has always and will always do.

Rogan said on day one that Spotify will not interfere with his podcasts at all. No restrictions. Rogan is probably the biggest voice in the anti censorship movement. I’d like for him to speak up about this.

Apple and YouTube are only relevant for another month, than he’s exclusive to Spotify.

Speaking of censorship... I see the girl scouts tweeted a congrats to ACB for being a woman appointed to the suprecem court.

Well of course that infuriated a bunch of nutjob leftists so they predictably deleted the tweet

MOAR CENSORSHIP!!!!

In free market they actually have to care about public opinion. They did what they think is best for buisness. I stopped buying anything from them years ago when they penalized a girl for selling outside a dispensary.

to be fair... they totally deserved to be condemned for being happy about the empowerment of a woman

to be fair

this is a stupid point

and has absolutely nothing to do with you acting like/representing that someone deleting a tweet was censorship

In fairness, it is clearly singular in this case. She most definitely will not further the empowerment of women as a whole. I don't know how much time you've spent in a religious environment, but the women not only help keep the other women subjugated for the most part, they also are often more fervent about it than the men. It is quite something. This is the exact mentality we now have on the Supreme Court. That is going to be a huge problem for freedom and women, and any self-respecting Libertarian should be appalled that someone like her has that much government power now. But you newfangled Libertarians are in bed with the religious right, so whatever. Have fun with all that freedom and small government!

Lol yeah I heard her first law is to make all women dress in handmaid outfits.

Yall need to seriously relax.

Last I checked, religious liberty is a 1st amendment right. This pandemic has proven leaders dont give a **** about it... so I'm glad we have a court justice who will remember what the 1st amendment is
