miss out on a lot of great journalism if we didn't have the NY Times.


but thanks to people thinking media/journalism should make money now on their own

which wasn't always the case in the older days

it was viewed as essential and usually was done at a possible loss while being profitable in other businesses elsewhere to make up for it


but because of "capitalism", they have to do bull**** stories like that and other ones to drive clicks and revenue

I love tweets like this. They're beyond moronic. They talk about approval ratings with no evidence. It's apparently in the 80s. And it's based off a single poll that certainly has sampling issues. From over a month before he shared this tweet. Cuomo and Murphy were already viewed positively so of course putting out a strong face when **** is hitting the fan will make them look good. Unlike our fearful leader who changes his mind on what he wants to do every damned day.

The stupidity of the right is that they are so adamant that they can't be wrong, that they don't embrace facts. HCQ is a decent drug for certain patients. And that's fine. It's cheapness and availability make it great. But it's not universally working. And the Rs want to shut the door because it was the first name they saw. We need to do studies to see what works, and there's a number of breaking treatments that are going into more studies, tocilizumab, remdesivir, cerdelga and venglustat, etc. The idea that I'm right your wrong shut up, is childish and shows why the right will inevitably lose. Eventually the old people will die out and reveal the weird fringe that exists at it's base.
