Let's Talk About Media

Biden can do what he wants.

But where is the press demanding he answer questions?

I see Fox News, the largest media company, demanding it quite a bit. 95% of the questions Trump takes are not about his campaign although 75% of his answers turn into campaign speeches and most of the campaign questions come from OANN or other "media" who are openly supporting Trump. Lets be real here. You want Biden out there as much as possible to hope he does something Trump can use to campaign on because Trump is losing by a lot. Thats perfectly fine. When is Trump going to do an interview with CNN. Obama gave plenty of interviews to Fox News. Interviews for Trump by Hannity, Lou Dobbs, OANN, etc arent media interviews they are campaign events.

When is Fox News and the right wing media going to cover Trumps cognitive problems? They are clearly concerned with the cognitive ability of Joe Biden. Its outright dishonest to not give the same coverage to Trump who has more than his fair share of issues. There is no shortage of people who work with him or are related to him calling him stupid. He refuses to release his college grades after demanding Obama release his. Where is the Fox News outrage over Trump refusing to release his taxes after repeatedly saying he would during the campaign. He wont even release evidence he was even under audit. When does Fox News cover this? The daytime when no one is watching? When do Hannity and Lou Dobbs cover this? Fox and Friends? When is Fox going to cover the fact that people go on their program specifically to speak to the President knowing he is watching and heavily influenced by what he sees on Fox? When is Fox going to cover Hannity appearing and speaking at a Trump campaign rally when the media is not supposed to do that? Are they going to cover the fact that when concerns were raised at the time that he was even appearing there they strongly denied he would be speaking..... and then he went on stage and spoke at the Trump campaign rally.

Trump has taken questions at literally dozens of task force meetings. He takes questions outside of white house twice a week. He took the Wallace interview and the Axios interview.

This isn't a good whataboutism for you, sorry

Both of those you mentioned bent over backwards for Trump. Just because Trump said stupid **** and they didnt just smile and nod like OANN reporter does not make it a tough interview. Bill o'Reilly wouldnt have put up with Obama saying stupid ****. And Trump loves whatsoboutisms. As do you. I think the largest media company in the country and Trump shiuld live up to your standards if you think Biden and the smaller media companies should.

Trump has no choice but to take questions. He is doing an interview a day on Fox News at this point. He has to do this because he is losing. Yes, it is a political calculation for Biden not to be out there more. It's a smart move and atleast at this point he isnt taking the bait. I have always said Trump is a master at slinging mud and he can screw up 100 times more than Biden but he will use anything even if he doesnt screw up against him. So there is no incentive for Biden to do anymore than he has to. If Trump was up 8 I dont believe he would even do a debate.

Literally everyone in the media is a political operative. There is no unbiased medium. Just extensions of each government party vying for narrative spin on their respective platforms.

Yeah I am sure Democrat Congressmen are calling Maddow or Cuomo for political strategy advice.

And I'm totally going to waste my time citing the beyond numerous ties of the Democract party and the media as documented within Clinton and Pedosta leaks, all of the known familial relationships between media execs and the Obama administration and the beyond the pale obviousness on display day-in, day-out. You literally cited in your sarcastic sentence the Cuomo relation. I mean, at least when you're adlibbing sarcasm, don't ****ing prove my point inadvertently. Numbskull. You couldn't name 2 poeple without landing on one.

Hannity is the ****ing Godfather for Republicans.

Absolutely a mouth piece for the Republican party. Unabashadly. I think he even admits he's Op Ed.

I'm simply stating what has become obvious to me, that ALL media is the very same thing. There is no such thing as unbiased media. They are all pushing the narrative of their party. The are all Op Ed.
Even the ones that try really hard to convey an air of neutrality. It's just so easy and desirable to manipulate by omitting one phrase, or framing/emphasizing one thing over another. I think it's a real struggle to remain unbiased and I can't really find anyone that does. For me I think one of the few people that I've seen look at things in an unbiased way is Glenn Greenwald. I agree with some of his takes, others I do not. But it seems like he tries to fight the good selfless fight of unbiased journalism.
