Let's Talk About Media

She must mean the eta not the Uighurs

The leatherworkers were part of a caste that were known by a number of derogatory names. In the feudal era, they were called the eta (which meant “full of filth”), and later hinin (“non-human”) and buraku (“hamlet” people, a term that became a slur), all of which referred to roughly the same thing: outcaste, which to others meant tainted or dirty.

Well, Japan did invade China in WWII and I'm sure there were some Uyghurs killed during that. So let's all agree that she is technically correct which according to Futurama is the best kind of correct.

I think the mistreatment of the eta which continues to this day is sufficient cause.

Considering the left wants to see only skin color... Tough to argue. They do not agree with his message

Agreed. Much like Lincoln, his legacy has been polished to make it more palatable. The famous "character not skin color" quote has been taught in elementary textbooks for a reason, so everyone would remember that and not the many quotes that were so friendly and supportive of Communism.

I also suspect he would have done what the rest of the racial grievance industry has done, continue to invent reasons to protest, march, expand their job market, and get paid.

I agree with some of what you said while disagreeing with some

Glad we agree on the absurdity though that mlk would be a hard right conservative though. Only those that never actually studied or read anything he wrote to try to understand him would say something so dumb.

Cheers

It’s funny to look back at how the media gobbled up Drumpf. It’s tragic what they had to become for ratings and $

An accurate and surprisingly honest take on the media by a Dem candidate for governor of Florida.

How many times do I need to smack this narrative down? Republicans dominate talk radio media which is their biggest media asset even more so than Fox. You have OANN, Newsmax, Breitbart, Drudge, etc.

But if you agree Fox is heavily partisan for Republicans what does that say about disgraced former President Trump's attempts to censor them for daring to acknowledge reality?

I don't think there's a single person on this board who defends Fox, beyond stating that their only difference from any other alphabet network is the side they deliver propaganda for.

As for talk radio:

A. The stuff on the right is balanced to a significant degree by the federally funded NPR

B. There aren't that many people listening

C. It is dwarfed by Left dominated print media

You can make whatever arguments you want, but any that come to the conclusion that media is not tremendously biased in favor of the Left are disingenuous.
