I showed previous examples of overcrowded hospitals prior to covid.
People are just learning that wait times exist at ERs.

Hell ICU bed capacity is almost always 80+% well before covid... but the headlines are still "OMG HOSPITAL ICU BEDS ARE 80%!!!!!!"
My dads a retired ER doctor in the south. He’ll tell you the majority of people waiting in the ER are either junkies looking for a fix or wussies that just need basic Tylenol.

That said, I completed the thought exercise proposed by the tweeter…if a progressive did this, say Rep Omar, it would largely be ignored by the non-right wing media…the extent of the coverage would be reserved to attacking those criticizing her as racist, sexist, and xenophobic. Conservatives would take to Twitter to say “imagine if a conservative did this?” And a couple hours later people would find something new to be outraged by.

I think Adfontes has the best chart out there, but I always question if they've actually seen either of Hot Air or CNN. Neither is as far from the center on this chart as they are in reality.
I also wonder if there is a way to account for the general leftward skew of major media outlets. Meaning, with every major news source besides Fox and WSJ being left of center, how much does that drag the actual center leftward of where it should be?
