This is the problem with corporate media. I think it’s absolutely reasonable to say Republicans are trying to downplay both the significance and the public interest involved in the Signal controversy. But this right here is bull****, and Enten and CNN absolutely know it. Those surges are not indicative of public interest in the story being any larger than any other story. People have no reason to Google The Atlantic or Signal, even if they are deeply, deeply invested in politics. You cannot use a spike in interest in two niche topics alone as evidence for public interest. It’s deceptive journalism at its finest, and provides cover for Trump and his supporters to criticize the media’s portrayal of the incident as the “real” issue at hand here.

He was a vegetable and the Hussein aparatus which was actually running the country the last 4 years (and insurrection against Trump from 15-20) was orchestrating a conspiracy to lock up Trump.

Right, and then you saved the Jabawookie and saved Narnia. Cool story bro. Republicans tried to lock up the Clintons for the last 30 years. Trump was literally impeached for trying to force Ukraine to publicly open an investigation of Joe Biden months before the election. Trump literally ran on a platform of locking up Hillary. I dont know if its possible to be more of a hypocrite tha you are on this. There is no dispute by any serious person that he was caught red handed in the Georgia and Florida case. DC was iffy but nothing but jury nullification would have saved him if/when those go to trial.

What about Georgia? If it goes to trial Trump will be convicted. His only chance is to avoid adjudication of the case.
