This will never cease to amaze me. Trump gets so much credit for “transparency” that really amounts only to him saying the first dumbass thing that comes to his head, regardless of the truth or feasibility of that thought. If Obama had given a press conference claiming he wouldn’t rule out military force to take Panama or Greenland, these same people would be losing their ****ing minds about fiscal responsibility.

I know it’s a silly headline, but like, facts *do* exist and ensuring that facts aren’t decided by popular rule is still presumably something worth exploring. I like Community Notes, because there typically needs to be a source for a note, and I think it’s a good social feature. If you’re getting your news from Twitter and not looking things up, that’s your own ****ing fault. I don’t actually think social media companies have a duty to fix that. But fact checkers still have a purpose to serve. Navigating lies and misinformation is hard, and it’s good to have resources that will at least show you some facts, even if they aren’t perfect.

There is absolutely zero reason why any pardon issued by Biden in the last year should have any staying power.

The president is the only one that can issue a pardon and we know he was not mentally aware enough to know he issued one.

These were issued by the administrative state to cover their asses. THEY HAVE TO BE CHALLENGED.
