Looking through that thread does not make it seem that your general position is "wow we should really take this seriously and investigate it." I see a lot more "this isn't enough evidence and we'll never know so this shouldn't affect anything."

Indeed...he didn't seem to like my suggestion that the FBI investigate Dr. Ford's claims.

"the allegations represent potentially important new information the FBI did not have when doing the background check"
at which point Enscheff entered the conversation and the rest is history...except for the part we can't find in the archives
but yeah, it certainly does not square with his claims in post 2042 of this thread...his position was much different...the opposite in fact of the notion that "all women should have their claims taken seriously and investigated"...his preference was for a quick confirmation vote without a thorough FBI investigation on the grounds there was nothing to be learned from such an investigation

My position was and is...
Accusations without evidence cannot be enough to completely derail a mans career.
This was further strengthened when 50 other women came and accused him of being a gang rapist.
As always... any accusation should be aggressively pursued. And if its determined it is real, the man should go to jail. Of it is false, the woman should go to jail

I gotta be honest, it's really hard for me to read through that thread and get the sense you thought the accusations against Kavanaugh should be aggressively pursued.

My position went from BK is a bad choice based on his views of his 4th amendment to he shouldnt be taken down from a 30 year old accusation without evidence.
