He will not be the Pub nominee in 2024. He doesn't want it and neither does the party. He doesn't even want to put in the effort to write his blog anymore. In the meantime he and Green are lightning rods for negative attention from the other side, and will make everyone else more widely appealing in 2024.

He'll try to survive legal trouble long enough to support whoever the nominee is, in hopes of a pardon.

Definitely hope you're right. You can get some pretty good betting odds on virtually any other candidate right now.
 
Trump isnt going to risk a third straight loss. He is such a loser he got millions less votes than Hillary Clinton..... and Joe "where am I" Biden.

It's a challenge to write about deza and gaslighting. But I think it is bad journalistic practice to include the words debunked, baseless and fantastical in this paragraph. It would be better to discuss in subsequent paragraphs whether any solid evidence has been put forward for these debunked, baseless and fantastical things. It is ok for me to call them that but not for the newspaper of record.

I do think it is a yuge scandal that these attempts to weaponize the DoJ's powers were made as part of an effort to overturn the outcome of a clean election. We've gotten used to these kinds of things from very poorly chosen one and the people working for him. But it is really beyond the pale. One of many things beyond the pale we experienced during those four years. And they continue even now in Arizona and elsewhere.

I hope the GOP goes scorched earth next time they have all three offices. If it wasn’t for Manchin, we both know the left would be Doing it right now.
 
The one uppers in there would no doubt but really it would be cause for doing less if I’m being objective.

As is- there are no winners for how it stands now
