Having lived through 9/11 ( the ramp up to the 1st Gulf War, Viet Nam) my guess is you and the boys would have been on the front lines cheering on the the invasions

Lost a special ops helo too. Had to blow it up on the ground due to "mechanical problems" which probably means something critical and fragile took too many 7.62s.

They needed a 'win' so they hastily did something. Just like the Afghanistan withdrawal.

These people are monsters.
 
I much prefer surgical strikes over there to keep their heads down as opposed to terrorist attacks here or large troop deployments. If the story that he suicided and took the kids out is true, and I have no reason to think otherwise, then it's hard for me to criticize the operation. A lost helo is well worth the reward. All those kids just take away any satisfaction it may have provided.
 
At least they recognize it at this point.

For years they ignored it and were quoted here like nothing was up
