Liberal/Goldfly: I'm pro choice

Me: Can I choose my own health care?

Liberal/Goldfly: No.

Me: Can I choose what I do with the money I earn?

Liberal/Goldfly: No.

Me: Can I choose how to defend my family and possessions?

Liberal/Goldfly: No.

Me: What can I choose?

Liberal/Goldfly: Infanticide and queer marriage.

Me: I don't agree with your opinions.

Liberal/Goldfly: OMG STOP OPRESSING ME YOU RACIST, SEXIST, BIGGOT!

Probably published by others first.

Who is really trying to oppress who? Who is trying to force what on who? Was goldfly successful in putting a lien on that couple's house who refused to bake a cake for a queer couple?

Are you peeps going to let the goldfly types brig Greece to our shores?

by the way, to answer your very stupid mass email:

yes
yes
sure
a lot

All liberals start from the belief that upholding individual liberties is more important than catering to the needs of society.

I've never held that belief so maybe I'm not "a liberal". Being from the South and knowing how individual liberties/states rights so quickly leads to shutting certain people out of the process, how could I? But I naively included ALL people in my notion of society, which I guess is where the problem begins.

That's why you're smack dab in the middle of that scale.

Despite the awkward use of the word "queer" I agree with the op. The phrase "pro choice" was nothing more than certain liberals trying to make themselves feel better about saying the were pro pregnancy termination. The first attack on vol was his race and his age. Just seems really lame. Attack his points if you disagree with him. I mean should I ignore sturg and goldly because they are old?

As is pro-life and pro-choice are both marketing term rather than what they are. One being keeping the government out of a woman's decision of terminating a pregnancy and the other outlawing said act.

I think it was years ago when someone on here took to calling pro-choice pro-abortion and to be a snarky jerk that I am, called him/her anti-choice or anti-freedom or something like that.

What anti-free-to-kill-your-child? Something like that? :-)

haha, attack him?

there is no reason to discuss with him but funny to paint him as the victim when the title is "Liberal/Goldfly: I'm pro choice"

i live rent free in his dome

he won't respond and is a crazy person who posts and runs.

get the **** out of here with your post weso.

This thread has nothing to do with me, but how about we see just how "liberal/conservative" people are. This test of course is highly accurate and scientifically created.

Hey Running, I am just SE of you on the dot, one square. Still in the blue on the liberal side (I want to puke).

I'm 26.

But you are correct - the only thing liberals are pro-choice about is abortion. And that seems to be about the worst things to support, IMO

I ended up on the far right/liberal. Basically where Milton Friedman lands on the example it gives. No shock there.

Right-liberalism (Libertarianism): Individuals in this quadrant seek to uphold liberty as the primary political good in all respects. They tend to see themselves as staunch supporters of both personal and economic freedom and are deeply skeptical of collective plans and goals, stressing instead the principle of voluntary association and the individual’s capacity to make his own judgments. They typically see less of a role for the state than individuals in the other three quadrants, believing instead in the spontaneous social order of the market.

Yeah, pretty much.
