Lolita Express is finally arrested.

Eh. Nascpi is posting people every day form the Epstein files with affiliations from all over the political spectrum. The only person quiet is the board’s resident Bannon disciple
Across all topics?

No dice bro.

They go really quiet on stuff that’s embarrassing

All of them

Literally pick a thread and go back over the last few pages
Your response was to the suggestion that Nascpi is not shying away from discussions about Epstein regardless of the person being discussed. You said when it’s embarrassing the anti-Trump crowd goes silent. This conversation is pertaining to the topic of Epstein specifically.

Ive been asking you to rationalize some insanity in the states thread and you've gone quiet
Because you’re just asking me to rationalize things I don’t support and when I say I don’t support them, you say I actually do by voting for one candidate over another one candidate I disagree with on more things.

Im actually asking a deeper question. I cannot understand how some policies are fathomable that are pushed and im asking for your help to understand the rational behind them

(And yes, voting for them is supporting it)

I could certainly either research or invent my own rationalization for bad policies I don’t support, but I don’t find that to be a good use of my leisure time.

You dont seek to understand the rational of policy from the party you vote for?
I generally enjoy understanding the rationale of things, but I don’t seek to defend that which I don’t agree with. But when I’m deciding on a candidate to vote for in an election, some policy like Squatters Rights simply isn’t something I’m prioritizing. For instance, I can understand the rationale behind drone strikes on boats or in the Middle East more than I can understand the rationale behind someone having rights on a property they don’t own. However, I find the immorality of the drone strikes to be far worse even if I can more easily understand how we got there. So I’m going to vote based on that principle. (Yes, I know about drone strikes under Obama, but it’s the best example I can think of for my general point)

If my preferred political party was continuously putting out policies that I could not possibly explain the rational for... I would really start to question the motivation of such policies

As for droning... yes, Obama did plenty of it. He was just more quiet about it so you didnt feel as bad

The point I’m making is that there are considerations beyond the rationale for some specific policies when deciding on who to vote for, and that I see issues with the other party that outweigh the issues I see for the party I tend to vote for.

“Being a Democrat” is not something I care about or take any amount of pride in. But we live in a country where there’s no real consensus on *any* policy these days, and so the candidates pretty much adopt positions in line with the party so they can get support during primaries and with fundraising. From that list of hundreds of issues, I ultimately find that the Democrats are aligned with me on more of them than Republicans. If a candidate is available for me to vote for that I find to be better than the Democrat, they don’t have my loyalty.
