Because Congress made him? Lest we forget, his plan was to release a bunch of documents already in the public record and give Libs of TikTok a binder. Then when that didn’t work, they refused to do anything and began calling it a Democrat hoax. Then they redacted a bunch of shit they weren’t legally compelled to redact. This isn’t some Trump transparency effort.

How do you explain the actions of the Trump Administration and the President himself in particular, to deceive, delay or withhold information to the public when it comes to these files? Why did a handful of Republican reps have to do an end-around to force Johnson’s hand to release the files amidst a pressure campaign from the White House to persuade them not to vote for the bill? Why are deadlines being missed and unnecessary redactions being added to protect powerful people?

My stance remains that I hope there is lots of proof on lots of people to send as many as possible to jail. Some of my best friends in high school and shortly after were big into plenty of drugs. I knew about some of the light stuff, and had no idea of the rest. Once I did I separated myself.
