i love both

i will say that Uber is pretty ****ing shady with their data info and should be looked into on that front only. other than that i am down for whatever breaks up cab companies and their absurd practices

not really sure how this is a "progressive" issue but whatever
 
Have used it a bunch as well

Came up huge for me in Lebanon although I thought I was going to miss my flight leaving cause passport control didn't understand how I could stay at a house while not knowing anyone there. A little hairy there for a second
 
Yeah, not at all. It's great and I use it almost exclusively when I'm not traveling for business. It's particularly great for lodging abroad, domestically it can be hit or miss IMO.

I always stick to people who are relatively well-reviewed though. Not likely to take a chance on a new listing with no reviews at all.
 
Same as Hawk. All my experiences have been top-notch. I've used it in the US and Canada. I'm planning on using it in South America in a couple of months.
 
Uber is a great way to get around Atl.

That said, the companies in the insurance field habe not wrapped their minds around Uber yet. They can't figure out who should be liable for injuries, Uber or the driver. Driver is going to say Uber, and Uber will say the driver as they are a contractor.
